A Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Trustees delegates the management of the business to an Executive Officer or to third parties, in whole or in part, in accordance with a set of organisational Regulations.

Duties:

  • Manage the team
  • Raise funds  for the Foundation with the support of Board members
  • Set up of a general organization and run day to day the business of a service organization for the benefit of Eurospine, the Spine Society of Europe
  • Hire and supervise  staff and delegate his responsibilities, tasks duties and rights to the staff
  • Establish relationships with National, Regional and European Societies involved in Spine
  • Plan of education courses and events to meet the expectations of the SSE
  • Promote of Research
  • Inform and report to the Board of Directors.
Leadership and Governance
 

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the ultimate management and represents the EuroSpine Foundation:

Duties:

  • Establish the global strategy for achieving its goals
  • Approve the budgets devoted to its projects and the annual financial statements
  • Approve the marketing tools and programs necessary to promote and achieve its goals.
  • Disclosure of all potential conflicts of interests including but not limited to
    • Shares in Spine Companies
    • Representations in Spine Companies as adviser, consultant, board member
    • Contracts with Spine Companies
    • Others…

The Board of Trustees can delegate the management of the business to an Executive Officer and its Staff, in whole or in part, in accordance with a set of organisational Regulations.
