A formal review committee will be established in 2012. This Review Committee is managed by the EuroSpine Foundation and chaired by an Academic Leader.
Only the national societies or other Specialist Federations willing to deliver the European Education Plan at their level access the Review Committee.
The two roles of the Review Committee are:
- Validate if national courses contents (delivered in local language) comply with the established courses standards
- Improve courses standards after the initial experience of EuroSpine in 2010 and 2011.
Validation:
Every Society delivering the 5 modules of the European Education Plan is free to adapt the lectures as long as long as Core Slides are all presented and the corresponding Key Messages are properly illustrated.
Improvement of the standard:
As a principle of continuous Validation and Improvement Process, new inputs will come from the Spine Societies delivering the courses. Therefore the Review Committee is at the cross roads of new suggestions as part of the improvement process of the European Spine Diploma content.
