Election of a Chair

• The members will elect a chair for a term of 3 year
• The chair can serbe no more than 3 years

Appointments to the SSE Task Force Research

• 3 members will be elected for 3 years, then every 3 years to avoid a change to the entire committee at once
• Members can serve no more than 2 consecutive terms
• The Chair or a member can reign at any time

Conflict of interest policy

Competing interests exist when the evaluation of the reseaech protocol may be influenced by the reveiwer's personal or financial relationship with other people or organization.

• Members of the Task Force Research should disclose any financial competing interests but also any non-financial competing intrerests (political, personal, religious, ideological, acadmeic, intellectual, commercial or any other) when reviewing a grant proposal.
• Members of the Task Force Research (and their respective groups) should not apply for research grants from EuroSpine while sitting on the boardof the Task Force Research.
• Grant proposals involving therapeutic agents (drugs, implants, surgical devices, etc...) shold not be reviewed by a member of the Task Force Research related in any way to the manufacturer.
