Med Tech companies can also support Fellowship Programs. However the selection criteria of the trainees, the training center, program and other assessment are governed by the EuroSpine Foundation or EuroSpine, the Spine Society of Europe which are responsible for the scientific compliance of the Education programs.
Funders Advisory Committee meetings are in place as an official forum where the financial funders can explain their needs and expectations that the Foundation will try to meet in the field of common aims such as specialists training, patient care and information, Educational programs and content in particular in the field of hands on, communication with the members of EuroSpine, the Spine Society of Europe etc… Sponsors meet at least one time a year but as required to satisfy the needs of all parties. Each funder can be represented and the CEO of the Foundation chairs the meeting. Minutes are reported to the Board of the Foundation. This committee has an advisory function only.
